Custom Wood Shutters

Custom wood shutters can be made for nearly any shaped window and in any finish, including custom matching.   Custom wood shutters are not pre-fabricated and created to order specifically for you.    

As a courtesy to a client’s busy schedule, it is not necessary to schedule an on-site measure to obtain a free preliminary cost estimate.    Holly Horchover Design (HHD) can provide you with a preliminary shutter project estimate via email or fax.  

In moving forward, HHD will meet with you to guide your selection of shutter louver width, finish, hardware and frame best suited for your home or office, then schedule and be present for the professional construction measure and installation, ensuring that each detail meet’s HHD’s satisfaction and yours.  Product and installation is guaranteed.

 To obtain a preliminary estimate for windows you wish to shutter, follow these four simple steps for each window:

Step One:
Determine window dimensions in inches
Measure the window’s width and height in inches
  (example: 36” W x 60” H)

Step Two:
Determine the shape of your window by
comparing it to the three examples to the left.  
A. Eye Brow B. Full Arch C. Rectangular
(Circular windows can also be shuttered.  Please specify)

Step Three:
Decide if you wish a painted or
stained wood finish for your shutters.   
If you are undecided, an estimate can be provided for both. Exact finish specification is not required for a preliminary estimate, only your preference of a stained or painted finish.

Step Four:
Submit your specifications

• List the measurements and finish for each window by name (i.e.: Kitchen #1, Kitchen #2, etc)
• Provide your name,  complete address of installation location and how you wish to be contacted with your preliminary estimate.
